These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services provided by VertrauenDigital (hereinafter "Provider") under the domain certumtrust.com. The contracting party is the user (hereinafter "Customer").
By using the services, the Customer accepts these GTC as binding. Deviating conditions of the Customer will not be recognized.
The Provider offers digital consulting and information services in the field of IT security and data protection. The specific service features are described in the respective service description on the website.

The Provider reserves the right to further develop or change the offered services in terms of content and technology.
The Customer undertakes to provide truthful information and not to use the services for illegal or fraudulent activities.
The Customer is responsible for the security of their access credentials. In case of suspected misuse, the Provider must be informed immediately.
Prices for chargeable services are stated net and are exclusive of statutory value-added tax. They are displayed on the website or in the individual offer.
Payment is due in advance via bank transfer or through the offered online payment service providers, unless otherwise agreed. Access to chargeable services is activated upon receipt of payment.
Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal. In case of withdrawal, payments already made will be refunded immediately. For digital content not supplied on a physical data carrier, the right of withdrawal expires after the start of contract performance with the express consent of the Customer.
The Provider is fully liable for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body, or health.
In cases of slight negligence, the liability of the Provider is limited to the typically foreseeable damages, unless essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) have been breached. Liability for indirect damages and lost profits is excluded.
The information provided is of a general nature and does not replace individual, legally binding advice. Liability for the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of the content is excluded.
Chargeable contracts with a term can be terminated by the Customer at the end of the contract term. Termination must be in writing (e.g., by email).
The Provider is entitled to terminate the contractual relationship for good cause without notice. A good cause exists in particular if the Customer violates these GTC.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
The place of performance and jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is the registered office of the Provider, provided the Customer is a merchant.
The Provider reserves the right to change these GTC. The Customer will be informed about significant changes. The amended conditions are deemed approved if the Customer does not object in writing within four weeks after notification.
